Early blackberries!

Here are the blackberries we picked today. We hope to get even more tomorrow though as there are lots on the bush that were red and almost ripe today.

A nice on of Jeremy smiling (sans fag in mouth for once!)....... can't wait til he gives up altogether (smoking not smiling!)...

If you look really carefully at Alfie's hair - you can see it blowing in the wind - now that's progress (having enough hair to blow about at last!) LOL!

Stokes Bay Today.

The girls all wore their new wetsuits (courtesey of http://www.mandmdirect.com/ - the discount online sports store in the UK) for playing in the sea. This worked out much better than usual, because they all changed into these suits at home and wore them in the car on the way to the beach. They were then used for playing in the sea - and kept them warm while they ate their tea on the beach - and they went home in them again too - so no faffing about changing into this and that at the beach!

Today we had a lovely afternoon excursion to stokes bay - to cook tea on the beach using the kelly kettle base, and my cake cooling rack! We do have the pot set that goes with the kettle - but Jeremy thought the cake rack would make a larger "grill tray" and give him space to set some of the meat to one side if he though it was cooking too fast.
