Today i made savory rice for dinner, which is currently chilling in the fridge, and the above: which is, 2 trays of apricot coconut flapjack, and 24 banana choc chip muffins. Wonder how many days those will last?
Alfie wishes he could join in with the frisbee game. It won't be too long til he's walking.
Lily with the wind in her hair.
Roro and jeremy.
Of course i had to confiscate it eventually, as lily was becoming a danger to the public with it, especially when the wind picked up!
Going back to sweden for more?
The sun shone all afternoon.
Okay, so it's not new per se, but it's new to us. There were board walks over marshy boggy land by some ponds. There were some unusual plants to see here. We were the only people walking here, it was really nice.
Grandma gloria supervising bike practice.
Daddy pushing the pram to pete and gloria's.
Walking through the woods.
With his hat on at the beach.
Gabi skimming stones.
Sunday morning walk. Lovely weather here again.
Just been through the woods, and the bluebells are out now.
Alfie's having trouble with his hood again!
Jiggety jig . . On our way back from the shops. It's cowboy casserole for tea tonight.
On board.
Grandma and grandad's boat is the 2nd one along.
The girls are off out with grandma, grandad and cousins today, so we took them to the marina and dropped them off.
Last lingering view of the heather and the dales.
Off home again tomorrow.
In the medieval garden outside the castle.
Outside the castle.
Weather nicer than predicted. Considering staying here to the end of the hols!
We all had a lovely afternoon in the garden, with some richmond ale, and easter choc. Alfie particularly enjoyed the freedom of no Nappy, and a big safe place to explore. Lily and Roro went over the fence to climb trees and play. Lots of lovely sunshine. The drain was eventually unblocked by the 2nd professional of the day to tackle the job. He came with a big truck and jet hose. Turns out a birds nest had fallen into the pipe, also an old piece of ceramic pipe had come away and partially blocked the drain.
The avid weaner's easter breakfast. Shreddies and chocolate buttons!
Rowanne hoping for more!
The children enjoy easter goodies . . . With the faint nif of dung from the blocked drain wafting through the house. . .
In typical bank holiday style, the drain has blocked at grandma joys. This is not the chocolate surprise we were hoping for. (This post will help all would-be dieters! )
Jeremy smokin' a fag on our riverside walk.
By the river in Ripon.
A quirky epitaph on one of the graves at Ripon cathedral!
Today as part of our visit to north yorkshire we went to Ripon. We enjoyed a walk around the town past the cathedral and down by the river.
